Sandra right now is promoting both the final season of Killing Eve, and the movie Turning Red, a Pixar joint with the distinction of being the first to be directed solely by a woman (I don’t know if this means that TWO women have co-directed before, or that it’s always been a woman and a guy), the first set in Canada (hey now!), and the second to feature an Asian main character. Billie Eilish and Finneas apparently also did some music for it, which is neat. I hope it does great business — let’s say, numbers that are on par with how much I like the SECOND outfit, rather than the first.
