I’m delighted to report that Fallen Angels, the Noel Coward play in which Rose Byrne and Kelli O’Hara co-star, is getting excellent reviews. I’m concerned to report that The Gilded Age is also currently filming and I’m concerned we will rejoin our friends to find that Aurora Fane has, say, fallen down a well or entered an asylum to explain O’Hara’s absence — maybe she will just be on a lengthy European sojourn? At the very least, I cannot imagine Julian Fellowes would stick someone in an asylum off camera. We’ll find out…at some point! (Who knows when The Gilded Age is even back!) Finally, I’d be interested to hear who decided which actress got to wear the color of mango sorbet, and who got the strawberry mint concoction. (FWIW, the correct choices were made.)
