My prediction is that we are gonna see SO MUCH CAMPAIGNING for Pluribus by Apple TV — which can certainly afford it — over the next few weeks between now and when the Emmy voting ends. If you’re keeping track, the “final round voting portal” is August 10 – August 16, and then the final round of voting happens August 17 – August 26, 2026, and Apple really needs to remind everyone about Pluribus, because it premiered so long ago. So get ready to see a lot more of Rhea, who I think probably is the front-runner in her category. (In part because she should have won for Better Call Saul, rather than because she’s so great in Pluribus. I mean, she IS quite good in Pluribus, but the farther I get from Pluribus, the less I liked Pluribus.)
Anyway, no way is Rhea gonna get to go chill by the beach for the next 22 days. Rhea is gonna be OUT THERE reminding you how talented she is and what an interesting show she just starred in. Or if not “JUST,” then, like, “during the eligibility period.” Having said that, these two looks are definitely just her warming up. She looks fine! She looks reasonable! She looks totally professional! She looks like a person who does not want to blow her really big-deal, very interesting, quite eye-catching looks until, like…August 15th at least.
