This was a drive-in premiere of  One Night In Miami, which is, per its Wiki, ” a 2020 American drama film about a fictionalized meeting of Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown, and Sam Cooke in a Miami hotel room in February 1964, celebrating Ali’s surprise title win over Sonny Liston. It is the first feature directed by Regina King, from a screenplay by Kemp Powers based on his stage play of the same name, and stars Kingsley Ben-Adir, Eli Goree, Aldis Hodge and Leslie Odom Jr.”  It’s getting really good reviews, and it’s going to be on Prime in January, and I feel CHEATED by the pandemic out of a proper press tour by all of these attractive and stylish folks. I am pleased that Regina went FASHION JUMPSUIT for this event, though — she looks like a glamorous and competent space force commander, and truly what what better vibe to carry into these strangest of holidays than that one?
