I admittedly did not recognize very many people at the Glamour UK Women of the Year, which tracks, because I do not live over there and so unless you’re giving me Alison Hammond and Prue Leith, I’m not going to be super immersed in their pop culture superstars. However! There were a few, mainly Rachel Zegler, who seems to REALLY like being in London — she just wrapped a very buzzy Evita revival there, and is now slated to star in The Last Five Years alongside Ben Platt when it opens on the West End. (Which seems to confirm that Evita is not transferring to Broadway anytime soon; I don’t know what theater has a street-facing balcony, to name one issue.) Good for her. I’d do it, too.
