I gotta say that, although I do not watch this show and it now feels too late, R. Bros feels like a person who does her promotional duties with good cheer. I’ll never forget the time I saw her at Fashion Week, when she was on the underrated Manhattan (about the Project, not the island) and I didn’t know her name, so I just wrote BAD MANHATTAN. (Her character had just sold secrets to the Nazis or something similarly non-good, although if I recall correctly, it was in the service of possibly saving someone in her family from said Nazis so “bad” was a shorthand lacking in nuance.) I remember reflecting to myself that she should be better known and now look at her! She’s tootling around in a VERY reasonable and cute suit with very well-chosen metallic shoes and possibly thinking about breaking out of the period piece thing forever and, like, shaving her head. I mean, I don’t know her life — but who would blame her?
