Abbott Elementary is set in Philadelphia, so it makes sense that — for the second time in a row — Quinta Brunson would play a role in the city’s Thanksgiving parade (which was sponsored by Dunkin Donuts, incidentally, and I’m sure International Dunks Model Ben Affleck was terribly sad not to Grand Marshal this bad boy). As far as her coat, she certainly chose wisely when it comes to being seen from a great distance, and all those colors ARE really fun. But it’s also a bit like Hamilton and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, except with a bandeau bikini over the top that frankly neither of those musicals would have favored. So let’s call it a spirited effort, laced with a wince.
However, her Special Guest Star Sheryl Lee Ralph delivered on some surprise millinery:
