This is great. She looks fantastic it in, and – critically – it's totally correct for this specific event. I'm glad it was specified that we can't just go down to the mall and pick this one up.

Meanwhile, Lupita looks terrific here – the jean jacket is really fun – but Zac's Fashion Jeans look AWFUL. You're the creative director at the literal GAP. Just WALK INTO YOUR OWN STORE and take some NORMAL JEANS off the shelf.

This was worn by Raquel Welch!!! on Cher's TV show!!!!! You can see it in action here. I'm obsessed with the fact that she wore this. Keke is one of our most delightful celebrities.

The back is sexy!

This whole vibe is like...mid-career Madonna gets really into Arthurian legend.

She looks SO cute in this. The dress is charming and her hair and makeup are perfect. Five stars, two thumbs up.

I appreciate the commitment on a night honoring designers. Why not wear the MOST designer-y thing from your allotted designer? This is also great if you slightly wish you looked like you were wearing a tennis racket.

This is A LOT of sleeve. Perhaps...too much sleeve? Is such a thing possible? The color IS perfect.

Rare it is that I have said this about Monse: This is fantastic and she looks fabulous wearing it.

This is like something made out of a bedspread, but artfully so. I actually think her giant necklace is drawing focus and this needed different styling. I hope the train is detachable!

I LOVE IT. And her corresponding earrings! Perfect.

I support my queen, Bertha Russell, in everything she does – and in her quest to grow out this haircut – but maybe feels like the designer was in the middle of futzing around with it and decided that, no, actually they were DONE, this is DONE, you're great, go out there and get 'em!

This is a BEAUTIFUL dressing gown but that IS what it is.

Brandy is adorable and also looks like she could step in at Chicago at any moment. Meanwhile, Monica is wearing a salute to 1970s door-beads. However: Both of these women's heads look fantastic and their faces are great.

I told you that polka dots are back! This has a real Whit-Stillman's-Metropolitan-look.

This isn't the worst thing she's ever worn, but nor is it the best. Perhaps the tassels are because she's excited about the current season of The Gilded Age, on which we are promised some TASSEL DRAMA.

That slit seems unnecessarily perilous but, overall, this is really pretty.

Yes, she's wearing a map. Honestly, I think this is cool. It IS a fashion event.

Also, it's important to support recycling.

In which the people at Saint Laurent remind everyone that they love to just put all their brand ambassadors in whatever looks are closest at a hand, at this event or at the Met Gala. (Having said that, at least a lot of these looks are good.)

This is so festive and fun.

This is pretty enough from the front, but...

...gorgeous from the side. Maybe she will just crab-walk through this party.

I'm slightly perplexed by the napkin rings on her right strap, but otherwise, this is fab. I want to touch it, which hopefully did not happy to her while she was trying to wear it in peace.

This is...Coach, look away...really bad. That black bow feels like such a random afterthought; this entire look would have been improved if someone had "accidentally" ripped it off before she left.

And this is random but slightly better. She looks like she borrowed a coat from Angel on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer while leaving a gala, and at least that's some kind of vibe.

The proportions on this are wack. It would look great if the skirt hit her actual waist. We don't need to reinvent the wheel of shirt/sweater entirely!

I heard that necklace is cursed.
