This is a great photo of Amy and I actually really like this dress on her — she’s carrying off the length, which can be tricky — but I have a confession to make. When I was scrolling through photos on Getty last night, looking for content, for one hot second, I thought she was Debra Messing. Can’t you see it? This is not an insult — Debra is also very pretty, and has great hair! — but it did take me to a very weird place, where I’m ranting that Debra Messing was robbed of an Academy Award (not just a nomination, the award itself) for Arrival. And I simply don’t have the energy to recreate my most passionately held, long-time Oscars grudge.
