Cannes is all-consuming, so we are closing out the week by looking at a couple of the OTHER outfits that had the AUDACITY to turn up while we were staring at France. I was very curious what Monica Barbaro’s first big gig would be after Top Gun: Maverick, and it’s Fubar, where she and Arnold Schwarzenegger play father-and-daughter CIA operatives who are not aware of each other’s affiliation — until now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s like True Lies meets Alias, and Arnie’s first TV role. Apparently, per the reviews, he needn’t have bothered. Hopefully for Monica’s sake they’ll greenlight Top Gun: One Of Those Other Pilots.
