Matt Bomer has a new show, essentially a gender-flipped The Golden Girls, in which he, Nathan Lane, and Nathan Lee Graham live in Palm Springs with Nathan Lane’s mother — played by Linda Lavin in her final role. It’s called Mid-Century Modern and it’s from the creators of Will & Grace. Lavin passed away seven episodes into shooting, so it’ll be a tad sadder at a certain point than Golden Girls ever got, but Matt Bomer’s eyes should heal us in due course. No wonder he wears a lot of blue; those babies cry out for it.
