Too Much is a rom-com about a woman who restarts her life in London after a terrible breakup, and given that it’s from Lena Dunham, I assume it’s semi-autobiographical — she moved to London about two years after her breakup with Jack Antonoff, moved BACK during Covid before moving BACK BACK in 2021ish when she met and married her British-Peruvian husband. It’s Megan Stalter’s first leading role since breaking out in Hacks, and her romantic partner is played by dreamy Will Sharpe, of White Lotus and A Real Pain fame (he plays the tour guide, and perfectly, I might add).
