As a reminder, Kate was on the cover of Vogue promoting this movie LAST September, before this film — which is co-produced by Vogue — even had distribution, even though it premiered at TIFF, again, last year. I guess it has distribution now! That it took so long does not bode well for the quality of this project, although per Metacritic, reviews are “mixed.” I know some folks in the commentariat saw it at TIFF in 2023 and most of you said that Andy Samberg was the best part. Let’s see what the best part of the premiere was, anyway!
