The first flick at Cannes is called Final Cut, about a French film crew trying to shoot a zombie movie that gets attacked by real ones; it’s directed by Michel Hazanavicius and stars his wife Berenice Bejo. And as is often the case when the festival opens with a less star-studded movie, the more famous folks on the red carpet are the L’Oreal ambassadors, hence Julianne Moore here flying to France and deploying the emeralds. But, of all things to happen when you’re repping L’Oreal, I’m not sure her makeup is great.
