Jodie’s skirt here is utterly stunning, and while I yearn for the entire dress it alone might have comprised, I don’t dislike the funky white draped top with it. But it’s definitely the kind of thing that you have to wrangle in a specific way on the red carpet the whole time — which she is doing to perfection — and then once inside, it might become extremely tiresome, and I choose not to even IMAGINE what will happen to it in a public bathroom. I hope she installed a catheter before leaving the house. Or brought a pop-up whizz tent with her. (Something that does not exist, and sounds like an item they’d add to Fortnite.)

She’s also successfully shining in the green hair and makeup, although I can’t tell if it’s just the lighting here or what, but it looks like her makeup artists just… ran out of product after they did her cheeks? It’s almost like there’s a line of demarcation there. Her forehead and her chin do not seem to be wearing the same foundation. And I can’t tell what’s going on here:

The open back is sexy, but did they insert a fabric panel in there? SURELY that was not the design choice? Was that… truly the best tailoring option?

Jodie and Brian Cox appear to be having a great conversation. It would be very challenging for me not to lean in and whisper, “Please tell me to fuck off!” And then ask him to record my outgoing voice mail.
