It doesn’t sound like Anne Boleyn was worthy of Jodie Turner-Smith, in the end — reviews seem to be that she’s great, but the show around her isn’t. That’s not stopping her from tasting the rainbow when it comes to her styling choices, which is great, because it all underscores that she is Major. We’re going here from my least to most favorite, beginning with this in both the year’s major colors:

That sweater is almost as long as the garment itself is. This has a little bit of a naughty Catholic schoolgirl vibe to it — giant cross and prim cardigan, but saucy frock — that in general has worn thin for me over the years and especially now that I am old and crabby. She’s having fun, and that’s great, but there is BETTER fun to be had — like, say, the next look which is by Christopher John Rogers:

She’s clearly feeling the corset-style top. I am not that interested in it, but the pants are a hoot. (Her stylist had a close-up at some of the accessories, if you’re interested.) Christopher John Rogers knows how to liven up a room.

Last, and best, is this STUNNING Gucci which you can see better on subsequent slides in the carousel:

That is fantastic work — truly, some of Gucci’s very best recently — and she is its destiny.
