Listen, you can say a lot of things about Jessica Simpson — and I have!! — but she took the biggest award of the night at this event (which is a somewhat niche one about the shoe industry but which is very meaningful in said industry) because her shoe line makes MONEY. She and her family recently bought it back entirely, and it makes like…a billion dollars a year for real. So good for her! In other news…the dress code at this event is ALL over the place and so was the guest list. Fun!
