Jason Wu apparently decided not to do a runway show so that he could slow down a little, and pretty much every outlet covering this presentation noted that he dipped into his archives for inspiration. For example, he found a photograph of the interior construction of a 2008 gown, and used it as the print on this fabric. What a cool idea — and I desperately hope someone wears the dress. Diane Kruger used to be a big Jason Wu wearer, and she’d certainly give it panache.
