Heidi’s summer wardrobe on her way to America’s Got Talent is very breezy right now — literally, in some ways, if you recall the giant half-attached pants. But also just generally, in the case of this ruffly floaty confection that’s like Giambattista Valli crossed with Jessica McClintock. I don’t love everything about the exact design, but it’s a pop of good cheer, and it makes basic SENSE to me as a garment, which honestly sometimes is the only victory I need.
She opted for something slightly goofier here, and I don’t just mean the cream and white color scheme:
It’s all chill until you realize the pants have those inserts that look like giant doilies, flapping around and making her appear a bit bow-legged.
Which therefore means the sides of her pants are technically half-open. Also the back looks a little bizarre again — something about the pockets and the potholders together clashes a bit.
