Quinta Brunson wore an adapted Alberta Ferretti runway look the other day, and while usually the styling teams make useful tweaks, I’m not sure that is the case here. I don’t necessarily love the runway version either, or at least not unreservedly, but I do think the knee explosion — and the way it ties into that peek of material at the bodice — is the interesting part of it. Quinta’s version honestly looks like somebody’s at-home budget recreation; I don’t even know how they got from A to B, unless Alberta Ferretti sent them the component parts in a crafting box and encouraged them to go wild. The original look doesn’t seem to fit the model at all, but I think that one could have been salvaged and I wish it had been. You?
