This is a much shorter list than that of the Best Dressed candidates — which is good! At a certain point you realize that there’s only like two or three people who REALLY could waltz away with it, and the rest are just one more chance to express displeasure. Our unscientific selection process involved the dress itself, the fit, the styling, general crimes against the wearer and/or our eyeballs, and both our opinions and yours. Also, potentially controversially, I left off Billie Eilish. For me personally, it was one of the worst — not because it isn’t a standard-issue gown, but rather because I don’t think it was a well-executed version of Billie’s particular style. But in the end, because she’s intentionally operating on such a different playing field here than any of these other outfits, it seemed counter-productive to include her. If she’s your worst-dressed, that’s okay. Know it in your SOUL. (And you can know it in the comments too.)
