Oversize suits, as you know, frequently confuse me because the wearer ends up looking like a kid playing dress-up in their parents’ closet. But this, to my eye, is a pretty stylish way to execute the idea of the trend without fully pandering to it. The jacket is draped such that it’s actually interesting, creating shape even while not being strictly form-fitting, and the pants are juuuuust roomy enough to make the rolled-up cuff look chic. So the whole suit is in keeping with the bigger, roomier pieces, but still streamlined — it has their vibe, but not their volume. It’s a nifty trick. Actual design: It’s what’s for dinner.
