This is the kind of Gown-with-a-Capital-G that we traditionally see in May in other places — like Cannes, or the Met Gala. It pleases me to see someone go so big on regular old Hollywood soil. And, getting to be part of the Star Wars universe is worth celebrating, even if the movie is not great. (It might be, for all I know; I’m just saying.)(Although I don’t think it looks very good.)(Also, I have issues with Alden Ehrenreich’s casting.)(It’s not his fault. He just isn’t the person I would have chosen.)(I’m honestly not sure who you put in that part, but to me it should be someone who oozes charisma, because that is really the only important thing to have in common with Harrison Ford as far as I’m concerned. It’s not the voice, or even necessarily the appearance; it’s the rogueish charm.)(So all the voice coaches in the world weren’t going to address what my issue is.)(The end.)
