Dying For Sex was a nice showcase for Michelle Williams, but honestly, for me the unexpected heart of it was Jenny Slate. I was less invested in Michelle’s quest for the big O than in the story of Jenny, who was losing a love of her life (not a spoiler!). The last shots of the last episode wrecked me — these are not spoilers, by the way — and I wish them all the best in their quest for Emmys. It seems like a strong possibility it’ll come away with a few.
