The AI results on Google tried to tell me The Testaments is a project about the Bible — you know how sometimes AI just…guesses? Bad guess this time; Margaret Atwood’s “continuation” of The Handmaid’s Tale is VERY not the Bible. Sometimes I think about how we were assigned The Handmaid’s Tale in high school and how… much closer to home it hits now than it did in 1992. (My high school assigned a lot of Atwood; we also read Cat’s Eye, which was extremely applicable for a class full of teen girls.) ANYWAY. My take is that this dress is VERY hard to pull off, but she’s doing it and she looks beautiful — even if the proportions ARE a little tricksy. (Also, somewhere, Ariana Grande is lightly sad that she didn’t get to nab this one for round two of her Wicked press push.)
