I have not read this book, but I know it is hugely beloved and I hope all the Colleen Hoover fans out there love this adaptation. On the other hand, I AM a person who enjoys when Blake Lively is on the promo tour, so personally I’m already winning. This top look is totally wacky; the top of it looks like it’s made of children’s sheet. The feathers, on the other hand, are fun. (I will say that Blake Lively never does show up to anything wearing something that feels like a sad bummer, at any rate.)
This second look is fantastic:
Blake’s character in the movie is a florist — judging from the previews anyway, and also her character’s name is Lily Bloom — so expect a lot of flowers, I think. I’m not sure this will be quite as fun as the time she spent the entire A Simple Favor press tour wearing a monocle and carrying a cane like a fancy Mr. Peanut, but I’m still delighted.
