First! Some housekeeping! Today is Presidents Day in the United States, and I’m not sure how many of you are at your computers today; I hope some of you are off on the ski slopes or at least wandering your house in your PJ pants, eating Fritos and Girl Scout cookies. I think we’re going to be posting on a less aggressive schedule today, but we will definitely have BAFTAs coverage coming your way. First up: The best actress nominees. Winner Frances McDormand did not walk the red carpet, but I have a look at her from the ceremony, where it looks like she gave a very expressive speech. We’ve also got a REAL scrolldown fug, and a kinda great dress from a somewhat unexpected source. In short, this selection of looks is QUITE A RIDE.
