You are probably looking at this and thinking, “Yes, that’s a very nice necklace, but is it MAJOR? Is it all-caps?” Well, hang on, first you might be thinking that Ashanti looks gorgeous with that emerald eye shadow and that her makeup artist deserves a raise. That is definitely also relevant to this discussion. But the necklace you’re seeing is layered with a little extra flourish:
Remember in “Oops, I Did It Again” when the dude fished the Heart of the Ocean out of the water to give to Britney (who didn’t seem to want it)? It seems HE may have done it again. I’m going to nitpick and say the chain is a touch too long, but truly, she didn’t need that extra pendulum swinging around her neck in the first place; her other necklaces and everything else she’s wearing are all more than enough. I’m sure it’s hard to say no, but that is one very weighty yes.
Oh, and yeah, she’s just casually wearing a bunch of ginormous gems on her fingers, too. Forget Orangetheory; weigh me down in that many jewels and let me walk around for an hour, and that’s a full day of cardio right there.
