Not sure if Anne Hathaway is promoting The Odyssey already, or what, but she took the baby for a spin in a pair of red outfits and it doesn’t appear to have been just leaving the house to grab carrots. Obviously, she’s got to to wear whatever is comfortable and fits, but I need some help here. First, we have this very Seussian concoction with an unexplained peplum and ending in billowing pants and a crotch so far down that it’s taking the subway. It’s not great, Bob, but again, you do what the womb needs. Maybe this is the only thing that didn’t itch. But if that’s true, why did she change later into the Temu version?
Still a peplum, but just… smaller! Still pants, but just… less of them! Still red, but just… lighter! Still stretchy, but just… more see-through! I don’t TOTALLY understand this strategy? Why bother changing? Maybe the other one DID itch and this is the only aesthetic she could handle on this day. Maybe she flipped a coin to decide which one to wear, and it landed on its side and stayed there. Maybe she took one look at the other pants and screamed, “I AM NOT A GENIE,” and tore them off. We’ll never know. I’m sort of rooting for that last one, though.
