When I Googled the Cabourg Film Festival to see how they handled it this year with Covid, this was the image that greeted me:
But, Google, it seems they had a Closing Ceremony, nonetheless! (The jury apparently met in Paris to figure out the awards.) People were VERY distant on the red carpet, but there did seem to be a lot of spectators squashed next to each other. I am not in charge of pandemic protocol in France, however, so I’m just going to talk about this dress!
Amira Casar is an actress who has been in a lot of movies, but you probably know her from Call Me By Your Name, where she plays Timotheé’s mother. And I would like to thank for her (a) wearing a great dress, (b) that would also make great wallpaper, the only thing I truly care about, (c) accessorizing it in an interesting way, and (d) being a famous person outside in a new outfit that I can ogle. THANK YOU.
