The Traitors is premiering soon, so of course its award-winning host Alan Cumming got added to the Walk of Fame yesterday. I wish he’d chosen to do it in full Traitors finery — sweeping tartan skirts and scarves and a fascinator — but I also understand that is a character (sort of) and maybe sometimes a man just wants to wear simple pleated culottes and purple hiking boots, you know? (Sidebar: I LOVE those boots.)
I love that his chosen guests were Monica Lewinsky, a woman who deserves her own Walk of Fame star for everything she’s survived and the absolute grace and conviction with which she’s done it, and Brian Cox, noted voice of McDonald’s. This is just making me want Monica and Brian to go on The Traitors. You could make Brian a Traitor and see how long it takes people to get over their fear of antagonizing Logan Roy and being on the receiving end of one of his withering looks. Actually, can we get everyone from Succession on the show, but IN CHARACTER? I want to see that round table.
