Unlike previous months, where Fug Nation is clearly Really into Linen or Obviously Getting Ready for a Vacation, July had a little bit of something for everyone and everything. In case you missed it, this month’s shopping posts focused on sandals under $50, the most practical items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, cute stuff for picnics, a round up of stuff for when it’s just too [expletive] hot out there, and, of course, caftans. The 10 most bought items from these (and links in Fugs & Pieces, the Substack, etc) are:
10. This Clinique moisturizer is so good — I just finished a pot of it, myself.
9. I really dig this bra! The polka dot pattern is so cute.
8. This J.Crew factory dress is quite adorable. (I think it got snapped up for patriotic events, too.)
7. These jeans are likely going to be our number one best-seller for the year. (I do love them.) They’re currently in the top slot by a lot.
6. Oh, hey, look! It’s my favorite Old Navy tank top. It fits great, it comes in a million colors, the price is VERY appealing. (They say it’s cropped but it’s not THAT cropped. It hits me at like the high hip.)
5. One of you recommended this VERY cute jacket in our post about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and a lot of you took that recommendation!
4. This Quince lug-sole fisherman sandal has had real staying power. They came in at number 2 on last month’s list.
3. It is extremely amusing to me how many of you decided you needed a cap that reads CABOT COVE CORONER’S OFFICE. (I also need one, I get it.) Also comes in a tee-shirt. This reminds me that one of my recent rants is that Widow’s Bay could have SO much good merch and there’s a real hole in that market. Someone get on that. Although I do love this tee shirt for the Widow’s Bay Historical Society, and this I Survived Patricia’s Sunset Cocktails shirt is good (although I wish that was all it said). You could make so much stuff playing off of actual tourist swag!
2. I’m DELIGHTED by how many people bought this MAXIMALIST tee shirt. Hell yeah to maximalism. That entire Etsy shop is so cute. I got this sticker, and I like this tee, too. (PSA that MAXIMALIST also comes in a sweatshirt AND a tote bag.) This almost made the list last month too, I’m excited that it broke through in July.
1. And, drum roll please! The number-one most purchased item is this very cute white embroidered top from J.Crew -- conveniently currently on sale. (It also comes in a black and white check.)
Honorable mention goes to these incredibly reasonable J.Crew shorts, which are currently on sale; this classic swimsuit (also on sale); these heels, which are secretly so comfortable; and the ThirdLove thermo-regulating bike shorts bundle. (We have a code for that one: HEATHERJESSICA10) I hope you loved everything you bought this past month. Thank you for shopping our affiliate links — they help keep us up and running!
