I am relieved to see that Bai opted for fishnet stockings layered underneath her jeans — fishnets, for reasons that I’m sure someone who is Not Me understands and can explain, are surprisingly warm for something full of holes — and it cracks me up that her entire Leg Wear Situation consists only of Things That Have Lots of Holes in them. The structural integrity of these jeans are astonishing! They are hanging on to their life as jeans by a literal thread! I hope they’ve since moved on to the next portion of their lifespan as cut-off shorts, as that is clearly their destiny. Regardless: They are a hoot.
Also amusing: TWO belts and an undetermined number of coats. God bless Bai Ling. Wherever you are, I hope you are well — and are wearing jeans that display a greater confidence in their personal identity than these do.
