I honestly feel like Zazie’s stylist spent SEVERAL hours looking at old editorials from teen magazines from the 90s before throwing this look together. It’s so the sort of look that, say, Sassy would have created, sticking Lisa Bonet and Chloe Sevigny in a field, leaning against a fence. They would have been wearing Doc Martens, obviously, but other than that…very evocative, Zazie Beets. You and your perfect name have nailed the dream look of my ninth grade year.
