The woman in this pic is living her best life – sunbathing, cocktails. A fresh mani/pedi. What looks like a pulp-fiction pot boiler. The dream! And ergo, I turn to you, Fug Nation: What are you reading right now? Is it any good? If not – what have you read recently that *is* good.

I'm still working my way though[ the *New York Times* list of 50 Best Thrillers of the 21st Century](https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2026/books/best-thriller-books-21st-century.html?ref=gofugyourself.com); FWIW, [*Magpie Murders* is one of the most delightful books I've read in ages](https://link.amazon/A08DwfwBZ?ref=gofugyourself.com) and[ I just saw there is a sequel](https://link.amazon/B0inZzql7?ref=gofugyourself.com)! That is great news. I also just read [*Whistler* and LOVED IT.](https://link.amazon/B0gO3KxzK?ref=gofugyourself.com)
