This trip had everything: A steel mill! Two of Kate’s childhood teachers! A lifeboat station! A scarf that I want! Ice cream! And a trip to a place called Bulldogs Boxing Club that I regret to inform you does not involve dogs wearing cute little boxing gloves.
Outfit-wise, this is very Valentine’s Day appropriate: We’ve got this very classic blue coat (on sale!), what people think is an old dress from Zara secretly floating around under there, and then she’s wearing this very cute Beulah London scarf which (per the website) is also a fundraiser to “help end modern slavery.” A good cause! (Beulah doesn’t note which charity the money is going to, which seems like they should do; interestingly, this is a cause that Princess Eugenie has done a lot of work with. I wonder if she popped across the Kensington Palace courtyard with this scarf for Kate.) I have a very similar scarf that benefited the British Heart Association and I LOVE it and I sort of want this one, too.
I just want to note that I am obsessed with the woman at the very end of this clip.
