This is the third version of this color and concept that we’ve seen. First it was the mini on Cara Delevingne, and then a more sophisticated version on Michelle Dockery. And now, Toni Collette is jumping into the fray.
Of the three, I like Dockery’s shoes the best (although are they the best with the outfit, or just the individual pair I prefer?). I like Delevingne’s mini the least, because the cut isn’t very flattering. Both she and Dockery look a tiny bit like walking basketball hoops because of how the netting is used, so THAT is a point in favor of Toni’s. For me it’s close between Lady Mary and Muriel here. I enjoy that classic blouse with the gentle keyhole on The Lady Dockers’ version, but Toni’s feels a bit more playful — which, yes, draws a lot of attention to the net, but at the same time, it’s a NET, so you’re going to look at it anyway. Might as well get creative with it rather than have her poke her legs through its belly.
