[*WWD* described this show](https://wwd.com/runway/spring-2027/paris/mugler/review/?ref=gofugyourself.com) as referencing a 1997 couture collection by Thierry Mugler called "Les Insectes," and quoted the current designer Miguel Castro Freitas as saying it's about “the feral aspect of nature versus the ethereal aspect of nature — the fragility versus the danger." They also wrote:

> Miguel Castro Freitas posted a trailer on Instagram that featured mating snails (try Googling “snail sex” — it’s actually fascinating) spliced with footage of two people exchanging saliva. 

I will not be Googling that, thank you. But I VERY much look forward to hearing whether you see feral nature and/or gastropod coitus in any of these outfits – [one of which we've already seen on Jodie Turner-Smith](https://www.gofugyourself.com/the-wackiest-weirdest-wildest-and-worst-of-the-academy-museum-gala/). Who will dare to follow her down Snail Sex Trail Blvd.?
