Surely everyone knows that a good portion of attendees will wear black, and those clothes just don’t pop against black backdrops — which, okay, maybe means the wearers could go in a different direction, but it’s also a preventable issue on the part of the organizers. Second: These ladies are last, but by no means least — especially as Reese is wearing one of the night’s honorees, and Simone Biles is one of them, alongside Melissa McCarthy. We also got a fun elevator moment from the latter:
