So, her elusive hubby Ryan Reynolds didn’t go with ScarJo to this event. But you know what else didn’t go with her? All the hair she used to have:

The dress is kind of cute, too — simple, but flattering, and the necklace with it is smart accessorizing. But the hair from this angle made me wonder if it was just an updo, or a bun. So I did a little digging.
Nope! Choppy choppy. I actually rather love it — it’s edgy and tousled and chic. If she can get those front strands to look like part of the coif and not the wisps you pull out of your bun, then she’ll have it made. As for our ongoing half-serious theory that she’s not actually in a real marriage to the almost-always-missing Ryan, well, maybe he’ll show up to check on her once he hears through the grapevine that she hacked off her hair. You know, just to make sure it’s not symbolic of wanting to be free from any perceived shackles. And maybe a paparazzo will just HAPPEN to be nearby with a camera. You never know.
