Nicole took home the Best Supporting Actress award (for Boy Erased) at this event, which is the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards — an event I am unfamiliar with; is this the Aussie version of the Golden Globes? (Sincerely: I feel very lucky that we have so many nice Australian readers who always help me figure out what the hell I’m talking about.) She brought out this exceptional Valentino for the occasion — I loved this particular Valentino line; I am, in fact, very into Valentino right now because it’s all just Rich Eccentric Lady, which is how I always want to dress. And it is, as promised, very Rich Eccentric Lady — a woman who first saw this pattern as a wallpaper but decided to wear it on her person instead. I’m not TOTALLY convinced that’s a good thing.
