What a thrill it is to hear that this adaptation of West Side Story is supposed to be fantastic; I haven’t been inside a movie theatre since I saw Little Women with my Dad in early March 2020. (As a last movie, it was a good one; I saw Parasite the same week, so at least I went out on two high notes. I have a friend who was wracked with anxiety that the last movie he might ever seen in the theatre would be Cats.) This feels like something to leave home for.
In other good news: This cast is huge and full of folks we haven’t seen a ton before. It’s exciting! And Rachel Zegler looks VERY dreamy.
