I do not fault Lexi Minetree for this — she’s brand-new, and even if she is firmly at the wheel here, she probably excitedly agreed to these plans without having a concept of how LONG these tours start to feel. But I feel like using her as a human billboard has gotten stale. We get it. She plays Elle Woods. Elle loves pink. Elle probably loved barrettes in high school. The vibes are correct, but it’s not the BEST idea to make everyone fatigued with the aesthetic — or at worst, the character — before the show even drops. Free Lexi! (I thought we already HAD. Alas.)
