Thank you all for voting for the Best and the Worst Dressed at this year's Oscars. With no further ado, congrats shall rain upon Jessica Chastain, who beat out Gywneth "Cape" Paltrow and Octavia Spencer to FINALLY win Best Dressed:

As for Worst:

Oscars Fugs and Fabs: The Rest (Enticing Headline, I Know)

Heather — Fri, 02 Mar 2012 15:00:24 -0800

This is the part of the week where we feel tapped out, like we've made every comment that could ever exist about any dress, ever, in the history of dresses. And yet there are always pictures left in our lightboxes, the ones we would glance at and then think, "Eh, I'll do that later," or,…

Oscars Fug or Fab: Judy Greer

Jessica — Fri, 02 Mar 2012 00:30:45 -0800

I'm concerned about Judy Greer. In all the photos from the Oscars, she shows nary a tooth in any of them. VERY occasionally she smirked, but in almost all the pictures, she was making this face:

And Judy Greer -- in my head, and on my TV -- is so funny…

Oscars Well Played: Bret McKenzie

Heather — Fri, 02 Mar 2012 00:00:53 -0800

One of the Conchords has an Oscar! AND he's an acrobatic draw with his finger guns!

Now let's work on Jemaine. If we can't get him a statuette, then can they at least start writing the opening song montage? You want your young 'uns, Academy? Go get 'em.

Oscars Fug Carpet: Kat Graham

Jessica — Thu, 01 Mar 2012 23:30:43 -0800

So CLOSE. SO VERY CLOSE, KAT GRAHAM.

We just need to hoist this up a wee tad. Oh, and get you out of those clodhopper shoes. And make the dress look 10% less like it's eating you like a giant, (wo)man-eating snake. THEN WE'RE GOOD.

Oscars Fug Carpet: Melanie Griffith

Heather — Thu, 01 Mar 2012 23:00:59 -0800

I love Melanie Griffith giving somebody the ol' side-eye up in there.

Ladyfriend, you're the one with the bandeau bathing suit tied over your gown.

Oscars Fug Carpet: Paz Vega

Heather — Thu, 01 Mar 2012 22:30:46 -0800

Let's see: Do we think Paz Vega is merely brushing away her hair...

... or wiping away the agonized sweat of a lady whose hip is crowning with a newborn Kling-On?

Oscars Well Played: Janet McTeer

Jessica — Thu, 01 Mar 2012 22:00:43 -0800

I'd like to publicly congratulate Janet McTeer:

When we were prognosticating the Best/Worst Dressed of the Oscars, I noted that a) she never left the house, and b) never wore a color. Way to go on proving me wrong on both counts, lady, and va-va-va-voomily to boot.

Oscars Well Played: Tina Fey

Jessica — Thu, 01 Mar 2012 21:30:29 -0800

I didn't even notice that I downloaded a picture where she was making this face:

I don't know WHY she's making that face, but in my head, it's because she's doing a quick bit wherein she's playing the role of an uptight, old school, super rich and mega snooty Upper East…
