This party was called “Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty,” and I felt elderly in the EXTREME when I read that, until I Googled it and learned it’s her sneaker collab. The Creeper is an existing Puma design that Rihanna puffed up with a thick sole and some color, which you CAN actually see here. I feel like she’d have shown them off better with a straight knit dress that stops mid-shin, but she had a baby in August and if she wants to wear jeans then jeans it shall be. I’m not going to overthink it. The coat seems to be Chanel, which might be QUITE the feather in their cap in their quest to be considered cool, except that a big chunk of it — the floof — appears to be something she added herself. I think the Chanel bit is JUST the purple quilted leather with the red tweed collar. I find it very amusing that her instinct upon putting it on was to cover a bunch of it up. Maybe Chanel shouldn’t pop any corks just yet.
