This dress is quirky, and feels almost like a period piece, like something she just wore off the set of Feud (which she is not in, so that would be a surprise). It’s by a designer called Ronald Van Der Kemp, with whom I am unfamiliar. This profile of him in Vogue is really interesting, if almost inexplicable to me in that Vogue-ian way where I recognize all the words, but they’ve been piled in a slightly perplexing order. But he uses, to quote another Vogue piece, “mostly leftover or sourced materials,” as a way of promoting sustainability (and because it thinks it’s cool), which explains why this dress feels so vintage, I think. I like it very much, but it takes a strong personality to pull it off, making this an excellent marriage of celeb and brand.

And I feel like we need to talk about her earrings:

Her stylist Karla Welch designed them for Forevermark, and they are 10 carats of diamonds. I LOVE them. Every time I see new fantastic earrings, it’s all I can do not to run into the other room and re-pierce my ears with an ice cube, a needle, and a potato, like the protagonist of a YA novel set in 1982.
