Oscars: Nicole Kidman Finishes Strong in Armani

After an awards season involving (fabulous) sequined avian life, and this wacky McQueen, Nicole does us all proud and closes out the circuit with this surprisingly good blush-colored Armani, which should wash her out, but somehow does not (thanks in part to her amazing lipstick). Sure, this dress looks a bit like it could make an amazing throw rug, or like a salute to truly fabulous doilies, but — as is almost always the case when I compare clothing to housewares — it’s in a very appealing way.
