First of all, it takes real acting skill to so eloquently convey MASS IRRITATION whilst one’s entire head is almost completely covered with something. Second, although Vivien Leigh here is, per Informative Caption, “voicing [her] opinion” about the cancellation of performances of her Broadway play, Duel of Angels, thanks to a union dispute about pensions between Actors Equity and the National Theater League, I feel like we’ve all felt this level of absolute annoyance about something over the last six years. (FWIW, the actors eventually got their pensions.)
Bonus points for managing to wear that many accessories and still look that incredibly glam. Scarlett O’Hara does not need a bracelet.
