I’m sure I’ve told this story a hundred times, but hey, why not a hundred and one: We used to see Tracee Ellis Ross at Fashion Week, pre-black-ish, in the Tracey Reese front row. And she would ROCK IT OUT. It was never in an attention-grabbing crazy way; she just couldn’t help tapping her toes to the music, grooving in her seat when grooving was logical and tempting, and unafraid to react to the clothes that she loved. It was exactly the unburdened, un-jaded way I wish more people reacted to fashion shows, and it was a delight. Clearly that part of TER will live forever, and bless her for that.
