This is truly lovely. Also, between this and Zimmermann's latest show, butterflies are REALLY feeling themselves right now. They're going to be UNBEARABLE soon.

She won the vaguely named Artist of Distinction award. And not a lick of what's happening here makes sense. I can only assume the designer got past the hips, stepped back, looked at what he had wrought, and screamed and ran and left a him-shaped hole in the wall.

Only the bottom was frayed at first, but then she washed it. Oops!

I've only just started watching Slow Horses. Timely! I actually enjoy the simplicity of this for a beach film festival, but she could use some lively bracelets.

"Those are the dumbest pants I've ever seen. They have to be Miu Miu," I said, and then I found the label. SLAM DUNK. What on EARTH did pants do to those people in another life? Surely you would only do this to pants if you wanted to punish them.

Meanwhile, McKenna has been doing early appearances for the movie, including this incredible shot from Sydney in which they couldn't get her whole dress in because they put her behind a bunch of plants (and prioritized the Opera House). The seagull photobombing this amuses me.

Is she pitching a Bratz doll movie?

McKenna's stylist called this "archival"; Lhuillier's Instagram described it as an archival bridal design. Regardless, it's a direct and at times literal homage to this Katniss gown, though sadly no one credited the original designer, Tex Severio. It's nice, but for a Hunger Games movie, this photo feels more like a cringey Cinderella moment. (Joseph Zada, you may know from East of Eden.)
